Car magazine is a more serious consumer magazine and has won many awards for its in depth features and news stories. The magazine is very well written in its 240 pages. Car magazine excels in its photography. The front cover of the magazine is always eye catching and inside the editors always seem to try to use their own pictures rather than those supplied by manufactures.

Car is very much a sports car orientated magazine, and although you will find reviews on virtually all new cars, the main features and head to head reviews are about performance cars.

There is also a very comprehensive catalogue of new cars which is almost certainly the best of any car magazine on sale today. And finally, the magazines also runs a fleet of long termer cars which the writers run over a period of 6-12 months and are regularly commented on, these are often witty and provide a good incite into how new cars perform over lengthy periods of time.
